This sign just north of Matagami, Quebec lets you know that you're on the "Route de la Baie James". This highway starts in Matagami, Quebec and heads north to Great Whale on the eastern shores of Hudson's Bay. You make sure that you have a full tank of gasoline before getting on this highway as places to refuel are few and far between!
This is the "gatehouse" at the entry to the "Route de la Baie James". For your own safety you must check-in here first before travelling this highway.
