 Awards Ceremony


The Awards Ceremony for the 2022 Virginia QSO Party was held at the Manassas hamfest on Saturday, 4 June 2022. Representatives of the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club, the sponsor of the Virginia QSO party, and the sponsors of the QSO Party Plaques presented plaques to winners in 28 categories.  The Awards Ceremony was supported by several members of the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club and the Old Virginia Hams.  The Single Operator Youth plaque, sponsored by the USS Wisconsin Radio Club, is presented to Karl Ng, KA4RLL, who operated as W4ODU.  Karl was 17 and holds a US Amateur Extra license.  He was first licensed as 9W2IXY (in Malaysia) in September 2019 at the age of 14.
