Comment and Picture from Mark, K4SO
"My extemporaneous remarks at the presentation today neglected a thank you, SPARC, and your team for the annual work invested in the VAQP. I have enjoyed participating in this yearly event. .... Guys who generally don't operate the major domestic and International DX Contests, find this event fun and approachable.

... SPARC has done a great job of balancing good-hearted competition with "everybody wins" encouragement with the extensive certificate system, in addition to the added incentive of "wood" for the wall.
I have bounced around categories over the years, and just wandered into a lightly contested one in 2019 and took home a plaque. It went up in my shack today and is the first in line as you can see from the attached photo!

I will also drop a note to LARG for their sponsorship of the plaque."

CU in the VAQP next year.
