Awards Ceremony



The Awards Ceremony for the 2018 Virginia QSO Party was held at the Manassas hamfest on Sunday, 3 June 2018.  Representatives of the Sterling Park Amateur Radio Club, the sponsor of the Virginia QSO party, and the sponsors of the QSO Party Plaques presented plaques to winners in 27 categories.

The High DX Station plaque, spsonored by North Shenandoah DX Association, is presented by John Kanode, N4MM, to Stefano Menon, IZ3NVR (not present).

The High Single Operator VHF-Only plaque, sponsored by the Richmond Amateur Telecommunications Society, is presented to Jordan Caudill, KN4JIM, (on left) by Bill Robbins, KJ4VTH.

The High Outside Virginia Single Operator CW QRP plaque, sponsored by the Rappahannock Amateur Radio Association, is presented to Dwayne Ayers, N4MIO (not present) by Bill Robbins, KJ4VTH.

The High Virginia Single Operator CW QRP plaque, sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Amateur Radio Club, is presented to Theodore Edwards, W3TB, by Bill Robbins, KJ4VTH.  Jerome Svinicki, K8LF, is shown accepting the plaque on his behalf.
