          CABRILLO
Log
            Format

    Note: The
cabrillo file format remains unchanged from last year.

      Any text file
can be submitted for VQP. However, CABRILLO is the preferred file
      format for VQP logs.

      Please name
your file with your call and the extension .CBR or .log.
      Completely fill out
the header information in the file. This will serve as your
      summary
      sheet.

      When you
email your log, please send the file(s) as a single attachment.
      For
large logs or multiple files, use a ZIP utility first and label
      the
zipped file as <callsign.ZIP>. Do not paste the log file
      into the
text of your message. This is often impossible to extract
      correctly.

      The subject
of your email should be [call_sign]. For example: NQ4K.

      The
        VQP
        CABRILLO Format:

      Please follow
the format below. Some of the logging software packages correctly
follow this format. However, please check your file to make sure
      all of
the information is correct before sending in your log.

      Log header
information is extracted directly into the scoring database and is
      the
basis for your entry. If you do not fill in the header correctly,
      you
may get placed in the wrong category.

      The cabrillo
format has been changed to correspond to the Cabrillo v3.0.
