Tech License Class

The amateur radio technician license preparatory course was a one day effort on Saturday, 5 February 2022. It began at 0730 and was over at 1730, ten hours later. The course consisted of 10 classes with a few short practice test sessions.

The class was taught at the Lansdowne INOVA Hospital.  Social distancing and masking were part of the safety precautions.

This course differed from our previous course in that this was done in one day.  Previously we spread the course over two days, allowing the students time at night to review material and take practice examinations if desired.

Eight students participated in this course.  Six subsequently passed the technician examination.

The instructors continued the tradition of providing excellent instruction.  As you can see, they are all smiling and grinning.  HA HA

The class coordinator / organizer was Amit, WY2Z.  The instructors were John, W3XWT; David, KF4PBU; Bill, K4UPE; Larry, W8ANT; Eric, KF5LR; and Gordon, NQ4K.

Everything went well.  Everything was well organized.
