2017 Herndon Festival and Race Field Day

Herndon Festival

The booth at Herndon Festival on Saturday.  The radios are on the table beside the red insulated mug. If you look carefully on the ground just to the left of the banner, you will see a aluminum box with a mobile antenna on a mag mount.

Gordon, NQ4K, operated the station and welcomed visitors.

Mary, KK4HMX, stopped by to chat and do a radio check on her hendheld.

Tia, KM4WXA, stopped by to say hello and perform a radio check..

The grandaughter of Tia, KM4WXA, looked like she was enjoying herself.

John, KK4AHY, came a visited for a while.  He road his bike to the Festival.




It was a nice day.  


Several old hams stopped by and a few possible new ones.


A successful day!




Herndon Festival 10K and 5K Race Radio Support
On Sunday, SPARC provided transportation and radio support to the 5K/10K races.

The GROUP.  Chaz,  KK4TNO; Bernie, KI9D; James, KN4BHG; Aiden, KN4BGY; Mary,  KK4HMX; Bill, WF1L; Blair, KV9BBW; Ray, KD4RSL; Tia, KM4WXA; and John, KK4AHY.
