Don, KC4RCG, was the key member of the team running the booth this year.  He transported almost all of the equipment and manned the station all day.

Herndon Festival 10K and 5K Race Radio Support
On Sunday, 2 June 2013, SPARC provided transportation and radio support to the 5K/10K races.

Charlie, K3SR, was net control.

Keith, KK4OQM, was 10-1 (10K race, milestone marker 1). Keith is a recent ham and this was his first event.

Eric, AJ4LN, was 10-2.

Bill, WF1L, was 10-3.

John, N2PBY, was 10-4.

Ray, KD4RSL, was 10-5.

John, KK4AHY, was 5-1.

Chris, KK4DHG, was 5-2.

Paul, K4PDF, helped Chris at 5-2.

Gordon, NQ4K, was at the start line.

Charlie, K3SR, Net control had a very comfortable setup.  Son David, KG4OFD, on the right, assisted at net control..

Our support at the races was excellent.  Looking forward to next year.
