| Field Day at Park View High School | ||
| The 2018 Field Day was held at Park View High School. We shifted our location from that we used in 2017. This year we used both of the baseball field dugouts and the concession stand for the radios. | This enables us to put all the radios
under hard cover to provide significant protection from
rain and sun. |
Paul, K4PDF, made the arrangements
to use this space. |
| Antenna Rope Hanging (7 PM on 22 June 2017) |
||
Bill, K4UPE, takes a shot at putting a fishing line over a light pole, The fishing line is used to pull over a light line, which in turn pulls over an antenna rope. |
Gordon,NQ4K, prepared to take a shot using an air cannon. He got the air cannon from John, N2PBY, when he moved to Florida. |
Paul, K4PDF, watches his shot. Often the wind will move the fishing line before it has a chance to land on the cross bar of the light pole. |
