Pre-Field Day Activities
Before field day, Eric, AJ4LN, gathered the necessary hams at his QTH for a radio/computer check.  The purpose was to test the logging computer and the computer radio interfaces to endure that they worked.  
All the networked radios are on Eric's table.

Field Day at Park view High School
The 2017 Field Day was held at Park View High School. We returned to the location we used in 2016.  It offers several light poles, some covered space for the CW tent, and close easy access to paved parking lot.  It is very convenient.
Paul, K4PDF, made the arrangements to use this space early so there were no conflicts.

It is antenna rope hanging time and the sum is shining and it is not raining.  It is a little windy however.

We needed ropes over four light poles.  We were successful with getting lines over three. Too much wind and a lot of equipment was breaking as the evening progressed.  

We started about 7 PM and we left about 8 PM.
Site Set-Up started at 1000 on 24 June 2017 and continued until 1400.

Its 1000 on Saturday and the first two trucks line up for unloading at the gate to the field.

Operations started at 1400 on Saturday and continued until 1400 on Sunday.

Morning does come. It is still lonely at first, then people start showing up and the activity increases.

We worked right up to 2PM on Sunday.  The bands were still hot and all the radios were working.  Then it is time to tear down and go home.
