Hi All,

Further to the recent bulletin re using TSTHWIN 1.30 with a "baycom" modem,
here are my
discoveries.

TFPCX 2.10
Failed. In fact, win95 informed me that "a dos file, tfpcx was causing a
serious
performance problem"

TFX_UART
Works fine as long as you disable the comport from win95.

Here are the bat files required,

TFX_UART.BAT

@echo off
cd..
cd drivers
tfx_uart -C:2 -R:3 -I:FD
cd..
win c:\tsthwin\tsthwin.exe

TFPCX.BAT

@echo off
cd..
cd drivers
tfpcx -Pcom2 -B1200 -CH20 -IFD
cd..
win c:\tsthwin\tsthwin.exe

TSTHWIN.PRT

Resides in c:\tsthwin\system

Last line must be,

2 253 0

If you have used TSTHWIN with a tnc previously, lines beginning with a 0 or 1
must be
rem'd out with a "#"

NOTE! All examples depict COM2, and presume TFPCX and TFX_UART reside in the
drivers
directory, which is in the path.

NOTE! I am using a P133, 16meg ram with AWARD 4.51PG, so results may vary with
other
systems.

Have fun,
de Bob
