Treasurer's Report was presented by Steve Grajada Total Funds 9-9-01 $351.61 Bills to be paid: $15.00 to Steve Grajada Outstanding Checks: $936.00 It was noted that Albert Lawson had yet to be reimbursed per last month's board request. Treasurer's Report was accepted and approved. Secretary was asked to write a letter to Al Pion, thanking him for his donation. Announcements: Al Pion - KK7XO is the new ARES District Five Emergency Coordinator Ed Ewell - K7DXV is a new ARES Assistant Emergency Coordinator for Klamath County Technical Reports: 1. Albert Lawson noted that here are some early morning problems with nodes going north. He is checking on this. 2. Path from Hammaker to Redding is doing well. 3. Albert noted that messages going to the State EOC, during the SET, worked well. State wants messages going to them, be put into the local BBS and have the system forward them. 4. Link to the north is working well 5. The Northwest Weather Service may want our Scala antenna 6. APRS is getting popular. We in the Rogue Valley may want to put up an APRS repeater. There is an APRS repeater on 144.39 is near Medford. 7. The Network Policy will be looked at, by Albert Lawson, after the fist of the year. Election of New Officers: George Malmsrom moved, and Steve Grajada seconded, that the slate of nominations be accepted. Passed. The officers for the year 2002 are: President Albert Lawson Vice President Don Barkemeyer Treasurer Will Calvert Secretary Warren Olney A discussion of new signature cards and check signing polity was discussed. A new signature card was signed by all the officers. It was agreed that a check would require the signature of any two officers. New Business: It was discussed that SOAPRA needs their web site updated. Will Calvert volunteered to chair the project.
