Minutes of previous meeting were read by Sean, N7ZWU
Motion by Frank, WB6LMA to accept. 2nd by Steve, WB6YQP. Accepted

Treasurer's Report by Steve, WB6YQP. No change since last meeting,
still have one check outstanding to the ORRC.

Tech Report

So far, everything is OK.

Old Business:

Motion by Steve, WB6YQP to drop any further pursuit on the interference
problem on 144.99 MHz. 2nd by Frank, WB6LMA. Accepted

National Weather Service. Heard from Randy, K7RPM. They are working on
the remote base system, and a 2m/440 repeater for Mt. Ashland . Albert,
WB7AWL and Mike, WB6FFC are working on the equipment for Skywarn. They
will let us know if they have the need to tie into the SOAPRA system.

Sean, N7ZWU was appointed at the last meeting as Tech Representative
for SOAPRA and is asked to contact Albert, WB7AWL for the various
passwords for the SOAPRA system.

New Business:


Motion by Steve, WB6YQP to order a 2 meter Scala Vertical Antenna as
a reserve. 2nd by Frank. Passed with one opposed.

Steve, WB6YQP will contact Mike Bock about the antenna.

Dick, K7DDI has some GE cabinets and will bring them to next meeting
for Sean, N7ZWU and Steve, WB6YQP.

Motion by Steve, WB6YQP to change the meetings to be held every two
months throughout the winter. 2nd by Sean, N7ZWU. Accepted.

We can call special meetings to handle emergencies.

Motion by Steve, WB6YQP for board to communicate on issues and vote
by email. 2nd by Frank, WB6LMA. Accepted.

Comments on packet. It gives hard copy under emergency communications
conditions. Message transmission has better integrity. Can archive
messages for retreival.

Need to call housekeeping to notify them we won't need the room for
November and January.

Nominations for November, we need to vote on this by email.
