A Tax Exempt Amateur Radio Educational and Service Organization

 Stony Creek Amateur Radio was formed as a tax exempt organization in 2000 by a group of progressive amateur radio operators near Rocky Mount, North Carolina to:

  • Advocate new membership into the Amateur Radio Community

  • Mentor the "new" Amateur Radio community

  • Stimulate ideas for the advancement of Amateur Radio in our area

  • Ensure flexibility and contingency

  • Provide reliable communications for our region and its' communities

  • Participate in DX contests in a traditional competitive manner

  • Provide assistance to new Amateur Radio operators

  • Support the other local Amateur Radio organizations

The group has monthly dinner meetings at a local restaurant in Rocky Mount, NC.  For more information on our meeting please email us.
