"This trip was actually a "XW" Laos DXpediton, but couldn't get a licence

that was satisfactory for DXCC on a simple way.

We are so sorry. ha too many unserious and difficult contact in Laos"

Last summer (2000) I called my friend Stein Roar LA6FJA and asked him !

Do you want to go for a DX trip / Holiday some where.

Believe us we have many hours behind us hangin' up on the telephone for this trip!

The answer was yes and then the ball starts roll.

Stein Roar is the only one that have experience with working pile up from the old team.

After the star market you see those who appeared after our re-build of team.

Our background were that none of us ,

had any actually experience with Dxpedition, trips, etc.

That's were great to have some other ones on team too.

Activity from Sao Tome

Where are we QRV?

The plan is to operate one station for 24 hours and one station specially for 160, 80, 40 meter at sunrise / set,

and 6 m if there is any opening on 6 meter.

But See our bandplan for QRG's 160 to 6 meter.

When QRV ?

We are planning to be active from 4 th to 10/11 th of February 2002.

We are leaving Norway Oslo Airport Saturday 2th February to Portugal,

and will stay a night there.

We will leave Portugal (Lisbon Airport) Sunday evening 3th February and should arrive Sao Tome

Tuesday morning about 05:50 Z

We will work hard to get the stations up and running quickly as possible.

The plan is to try to get QRV on the low-bands at first afternoon.

Those antennas take little time, but those other band on HF will we be QRV very quickly.

We have to climb up into those trees into the garden, or use a sling shot.

We hopes to have a eyeball qso with Francisco CT1EAT who helped us with translating the

letters from English to Portuguese for a time ago, and then I could send papers for the license.

All regards to CT1EAT Francisco for the helping hand, and all others supporters.

Thanks to
