This screen displays receive frequency for radio test.

In the test mode, the system select switch is used to select
     the programmed receive frequency.
The group switch selects the encode signalling format that is
     pre-programmed in the radio software.

      group number signalling format
           1 None
           2 QT 100 Hz

	SYSTEM MERGE HELP

This MENU allow you to CREATE the SOURCE FILE and to MERGE
a system. It contains two different functions "Creating a source
file" and "Making a programming data file(system merge)".
Alternate between functions the [F 2] key.

System merge operation is convenience feature when you are making
a data file. It is easy to copy system data from the source file
   to the data file.

    a) Creating a source file from a programming data file.
Source file has twenty systems which means including two
different data files. Therefore, make two data files first, then
copy each system into a source file. Each system has a
"SYSTEM NAME" which is used in system copy(merge) operation.
It is recommended to put the SYSTEM NAME in each SYSTEM.

    b) Making a programming data file
Copy a system from the SOURCE FILE to target file.
The SOURCE FILE is used as a source for system merge operation.
Merging SOURCE FILE in this programmer is that to copy a system
from the created data file to the SOURCE FILE. Before creating
a SOURCE FILE you must create some programming system information
programming data can have up to 20 systems which means it can
have two complete different files. And a system in the SOURCE
FILE has the own system name. It is useful in the system
       merge operation.

NOTE: This procedure is that only copying a system to the target file.
Feature option data will not be copied. Select them before you
Write programming data to the radio.

	PROGRAM HELP

Confirm the radio is in the programming mode.

   a) To set the transceiver in programming mode.
      Radio power off.
      Hold down the A(Auxiliary) switch.
      Switch radio power on.
      Wait for about 2 seconds.
      Release the A switch.

The system and group display show a dash(-)
The TK-930(D)/(HD),931(D)/(HD) indicates "PROGRAM" on the
      alphanumeric display.

   b) Connect the D-sub 25 pin connecter of Interface cable(KPG-4)
to the computer serial port (COM1 or COM2) and connect another
side of KPG-4 to the microphone connector.

NOW it is ready to read/write program data from/to the radio.

  READ PROGRAM DATA FROM RADIO
The READ function will read all codeplug data from the radio.

  WRITE PROGRAM DATA TO RADIO
The WRITE function will program codeplug data (you made in the
EDIT screen) into the radio's EEPROM(s).
You cannot write a program data to a different model type of radio
Confirm the model type both on the screen and on the radio before
      you program a radio.

	SETUP COMPUTER CONFIGURATION HELP

  SET COMMUNICATION PORT
Select computer's communication port for programming.
There are two choice, COM1 or COM2.

  SET DISPLAY COLOR
Select color schemes of each screen element.
You can choose one of eight colors to a element.

     Display element:
       Display background color
       Input data color
       Feature highlight color
       Screen border information color
       Windows menu bar color
       General message color
       Windows color

SET HELP FILE DRIVE AND PATH(SUB-DIRECTORY)
Help file is KPG5D.HLP and it can be any drive and sub-directory.
So the drive and path must be set in order to display help
       message properly.
