Set that channel in the Channel Edit window.
Move the cursor to the desired channel in the
Channel Information screen, then press F10
(Channel Edit window opens) and set
"Priority Channel" to "On" in Channel Edit.
Selected: The Selected channel becomes Priority.
Default : None

Select the desired value by pressing [SPACE BAR], [Shift]+[SPACE BAR],
[F2] or [Shift]+[F2].

Look Back Time A Help
Priority channel check interval while receiving on a
non-priority channel.
The transceiver's CPU chooses either Lookback time A
or B depending on the priority channel activity
--Program both times.
Priority channel is not busy (no carrier detected).
This time is typically set shorter than Lookback B, since
the priority ch. should be checked more often to prevent
missing a call.

 Range : 0.5s to 5.0s (0.1s steps)
 Default: 0.5s

Select the desired value by pressing [SPACE BAR], [Shift]+[SPACE BAR],
[F2], [Shift]+[F2] or by directly entering a value.

Note: During the OST Select mode, the transceiver does not watch the
at the priority channel in the scan resume mode.

Look Back Time B Help
Priority channel check interval while receiving on a
non-priority channel.
The transceiver's CPU chooses either Lookback time A
or B depending on the priority channel activity
--Program both times.
Priority channel is busy, but tone squelched.
This time is typically set long because the priority ch. is busy
with another caller using a different QT/DQT.

 Range : 0.5s to 5.0s (0.5s steps)
 Default: 2.0s

Select the desired value by pressing [SPACE BAR], [Shift]+[SPACE BAR],
[F2], [Shift]+[F2] or by directly entering a value.

Note: During the OST Select mode, the transceiver does not
look back at the priority channel in the scan resume mode.

Revert Channel Help
In scan mode the transceiver can be programmed to revert
to a certain channel upon PTT.
This allows the transceiver to be customized to the users
transmission requirements while using scan.
The revert channel types are Last Called, Last Used,
Selected plus Talkback, Priority, Priority plus Talkback
and Selected.
In all cases the user has the capability to manually select
a channel for transmission.

 Last Called :
The transceiver reverts to the channel upon which a call
was last received even if scanning has resumed (power
on default = selected channel). This is convenient
for users that may commonly receive calls on several
channels and desire the transceiver to always respond on
the last call received (especially if the user is not
normally able to respond immediately before scan
        resumes).

 Last Used : ( = with Talkback)
The transceiver reverts to the channel that was last
transmitted on (power on default = selected channel),
however, if a call is received on a channel other
than the last transmit channel and PTT is pressed
before scanning resumes, the transceiver "talks back" on the
current receive channel (scan resume time is dependent
on the Dropout Delay and TX Dwell time settings).
If PTT is pressed after scan resumes, the transceiver will
transmit on the last transmit channel. This is
convenient for users that always want to transmit on
the channel they are currently using and do not want
the revert channel to be constantly changed by other
channel traffic, but need to immediately respond to
calls on any other channel without having to determine
which channel the call was received on and then
        manually switch to that channel.

 Selected+Talkback :
The transceiver reverts to the channel set by the channel
selector knob prior to scan initiation, however, if a
call is received on a channel other than the selected
channel and PTT is pressed before scanning resumes,
the transceiver "talks back" on the current receive channel
(scan resume time is dependent on the Dropout Delay
and TX Dwell Time settings). If PTT is pressed after
scan resumes, the transceiver will transmit on the selected
channel. This is convenient for users who normally
want to transmit on the selected channel, but need to
immediately respond to calls on any other channel
without having to determine which channel the call was
received on and then manually switch to that channel.

 Priority :
The transceiver always reverts to the priority channel.
This is convenient for users that almost always need
to transmit on the priority channel.

 Priority+Talkback :
The transceiver always reverts to the priority channel,
however, if a call is received on a channel other
than the priority channel and PTT is pressed before
scanning resumes, the transceiver "talks back" on the
current receive channel (scan resume time is dependent
on the Dropout Delay and TX Dwell Time settings), If
PTT is pressed after scan resumes, the transceiver will
transmit on the priority channel, This is convenient
for users that almost always need to transmit on the
priority channel, but need to immediately respond to
calls on any other channel without having to determine
which channel the call was received on and then
        manually switch to that channel.

 Selected :
The transceiver reverts to the channel set by the channel
selector knob (TK-190 only), Channel Up/Down key and
Home Channel key prior to scan initiation.

AC Control Help
During priority scan, the transceiver checks the priority channel
for activity by detecting carrier and/or QT/DQT tone coded squelch
signalling. AC control allows the transceiver to check for "carrier-
only" when checking the priority channel to achieve a faster
detection of priority channel activity.

Yes : [Disables QT/DQT checking always]-
The radio disables QT/DQT detection when checking the
priority channel during the scan sequence and priority
         lookback;
         i.e. carrier squelch only.

First Digit Time Help
"First Digit Time" increases the TX duration of the first digit.
(for system/decoder attack time considerations)

Example 1;
"Normal digit time" is set to 10 digit/sec (duration is 50ms).
"First digit time" is set to 100ms.
The real length of the first digit time is 150ms.

However, if a transmission starts with the "*" or "#" tone, the
transceiver compares the tone duration with the "* and # Tone", and
adapts the longer of the two.

Example 2;
"Normal digit time" is set to 10 digit/sec(duration is 50ms).
"First Digit Time" is set to 100ms.
"* and # Tone" is set to 500ms.

The real length of the "* and # Tone" is 550ms.

However, if a transmission starts with the "*" and "#" tone, the
transceiver compares the tone duration with the "First Digit Time",
and adapts the longer of the two.

Example 2;
"Normal digit time" is set to 10 digit/sec (duration 50ms).
"First Digit Time" is set to 100ms.
"* and # Tone" is set to 500ms.
The real length of the "first *" or "first #" is 550ms.
