The biggest Russian island in the Baltic Sea is Bolshoy Brezovyy Island (IOTA EU-133, RR-01-02).
The first DXpedition to this island took place in June 1998 and was timed to the IARU Region I Field Day CW. The expedition participants were: RA1ACJ, RU1AS, RZ1AZ, RV1AC, UA1ANA, RV1CC. The equipment used: TS440, ICOM706MKII, TS940. Antennas: 2 el Delta loop for 20 meters, a multiband GP, an Inv V for 10m and 15m bands, another Inv L for 80m and 160m bands. The call RK1B/p was used with more than 800 QSOs being made during the three day operation.
The second expedition to the island was from the 22nd to the 28th of July 1998 and was timed to coincide with the IOTA contest. The expedition participants were: RA1ACJ, UA1AQC, RU1AS, UA1ANA. TS440 and ICOM706MKII tranceivers were used, the antennas were a GP for 20m and 40m, an Inv V for 80m band, Cushcraft A3S and some multiband GP made in Australia. The common call RK1B/1 and personal calls RA1ACJ/1, UA1AQC/1, UA1ANA/1 were used with over 800 QSOs being made. On the third day the electic generator broke and guys just picked mushrooms and drank beer for the remaining four days of the expedition. The geographical coordinates of the expedition camp were 28°37'E 60°20'N in both cases.

This poor info and a few photos is all I managed to get from these trips participants.
