AMA-TIRI = storm beam, flashing in TUPY language (brazilian indian) The AMA-TIRI

After the success of the CANARINHO, CURRIRA and the CURUMIM we decide to build a QRPp transmitter, now for 10m . This is the AMA-TIRI.

I love to surf in QRP homebrew Web sites, we found good ideas, like the NewJerseyFireball a Tx for 10,20 and 40m using a 28,322 kHz clock TTL oscilattor can. In Japan we found the Otakuchi a can TTL oscilattor driving a Pixie, forming a 40m transceiver. Other ideas we found in QSL-NET, but in nowdays unfortunate, it is blockead to brasilian users

In the last month we receive a catalogue from a electronic shop, wich had a 28322kHz can oscilattor (datasheet) in the middle of 10m band, it cost me R$2,80 (US$1.00). I buy it !

Then, in a saturday evening I build a oscilattor :

The schematic

4 components - a flash to build and to operate

It is a basic oscilattor, eating 40mA at 5V, the output RF pass trought a band-pass-filter, in order to eliminate the odds harmonics in the square waves and all other harmonic frequency. We choose a XL/Xc near 180 Ohms and we adjust for maximum signal on a receiver.

When it was All Done , I call by phone, my friend PY2XT Celso, who lives in a city near my house, about 5 km (3 milles) straight but not visible, asking he for to listening my CW signals.... he do it, using a handy Sony scanner and also using a transceiver, I should listen too by phone feedback.... despite he dont have a 10m antenna.

We will have many things to do ... increase the power.... build a DSB/CW transceiver...

Still plugged ....

Continue plugado ....

73 a todos
