Welcome!

   Explorer Post 1085 is open to young adults ages 14-21 in Cedar Rapids, Ia.   We meet once a month at our sponsor's (American Legion Post 5) hall.  Our meetings are usually on the 3rd Monday of each month.   There are few members now, but it keeps things flexible. 

    Our Post hosts Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) each year at Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation.  See Photos from the latest JOTA at our Activities Page.  Our post is closely related to the Cedar Valley Amateur Radio Club, and have post outings at their Field Day, and Ham Fests.
