 Regarding the 33-mp's "..I often hear 33.83, 33.93, and 33.89 when
 frequencies in the 35 MHz band are not coming in. Occasionally...same
 transmission on 35.46 and 33.93 but at times ...different...Also hear
 technicians working on ... 33 MHz ... while the  35 MHz...mobile traf-
 fic." Has anyone else noted these ?

As the load of DX reports permits, these will be tried to fit in. Don Blevins'new column (see earlier) may be a better place for a lot of that variety. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- KH6HI (Ewa, HI) figures that MUF's to 50-MHz on F2 ought to be possible to the mainland by November. The KH6EQI beacon is on 50.104 MHz. Its power/antenna system is much improved over a few years ago. It's also a target for multi-hop Es in the summer season.
