Around 02z (1 hour after local sunset) BC-175-XL scanner popped up with loud
46.25-MHz VK Ch 0 video buzz.  I Quickly checked 50-MHz and found VK5 on it!
(Wonder how much I missed?   Dallas area had had them for 30 minutes prior.)
Was the weekend of the Dayton Hamfest so some ops were there instead of home!

The ssb sigs were in around to 0240, some cw maybe as late as 0300.

The footprint on the VK end was about 500-miles east-west.

No evidence of any Es link on this end, but it could have easily been off the
southwest coast of XE as that is only 700 miles from here.

Doubt that I'll ever seen an event like this again!
