More on the PRM80 series shortly... PRM80 Programming InterfaceThe PRM80 Programming Interface may be obtained commercially but it will cost you an arm and a leg. The same functionality may be obtained from a home-brew unit of which the circuit diagram is shown here. As far as I know the programming interface is the same for all radios in the PRM80 series.
PRM80 Programming softwareThis is the software everybody keeps asking about. Run it on an old, old DOS computer. PRM8010 and PRM8020 non-trunking* PRM80 trunking models * I have a patch available that allow the 8010/8020 software to accept frequencies outside the designated bands, e.g., 145 MHz on A9 models and 432 MHz on U0 radios. Tell me what you have to offer in return for the patch. Swap only.
