The team will provide support and raise funds for a Mercy Ships Charity Project.

Craig will have to take two flights (4400 km) to reach Bamaga, where he will have "a local 4WD and fishing boat operator act as my DXpedition support person. He will pick me up from the Bamaga air strip, take me to the island, help me set up the tent and antenna and every couple of days he'll visit the island with fuel and water
and just to make sure I'm safe". The cost of the DXpedition will be high, "and so the support of sponsors is really appreciated".

operators coming from all over the country will be active with four well equipped stations: one for 2 and 6 metres, one for 70 centimetres and two for 160-10 metres. Roger, ZS6RJ and others will be active as 3DA0ET from Swaziland on 18-27 November, including and M/2 entry in the CQ WW CW Contest. There will be three stations active on 160-6 metres CW and SSB,
and a fourth station entirely dedicated to RTTY and PSK.
The website for the 18-27 November 3DA0ET DXpedition to Swaziland is now up and runnig at www.swazidx.org. A survey (link on the homepage at the top on the right) is being run asking

The Mediterraneo DX Club is organizing a DXpedition to take place from Bangladesh on 19-29 November. A team of 20-22 operators from 9 countries will be active on all bands and modes with several
stations. The team aims at establishing "a real cooperation with the local hams to assist them in any needs and improve their knowledge and skill in the Amateur Radio world". JA1MZL (AE6AU), JH1ROJ (KG8XV), JJ1LIB (N1GO), JN1RVS (K6NAO) and JN3NFQ (K1GI) will be active from Grenada on 21-29 November. They plan to operate CW, SSB and digital modes on 160-10 metres, and to participate in the CQ WW CW Contest. "We are negotiating with NTRC to obtain the special event call sign for our operation", Isao JH1ROJ says. A dedicated website is under construction.

ARISS
The International Space Station is now under construction and is permanently manned by teams of astronauts, many of whom have amateur licenses. Amateurs from the ISS partner countries, in the USA, Russia, Japan, Europe and Canada, have set up ARISS (Amateur Radio on the International
Space Station), a program to develop and put into operation the on-board amateur station.
The following frequencies are currently used for ARISS general QSOs:
Voice and Packet Downlink: 145.80 (Worldwide)
Voice Uplink: 144.49 for Regions 2 and 3 (The Americas, and the Pacific)
Voice Uplink: 145.20 for Region 1 (Europe, Central Asia and Africa)
Packet Uplink: 145.99 (Worldwide)
Crossband FM repeater downlink: 145.80 MHz (Worldwide)
Crossband FM repeater uplink: 437.80 MHz (Worldwide)
