Joe: Hope you got a lot moved.... Snow not to deep.... I will be
hunting up near the Kansas line tomorrow - so will not make net... Give
you an update - Activity fair on 23 this evening... Lots of Europeans...
Worked SV1OE and IK2MMB both with good signals... Other too.... State
side was good to hear some of the new gang... Worked W4AD, W7QX,
W7SZ on SSB.... Will be around this comming week if any of the boys want a
signal check or such..... Have a good net.... Did talk to Lou HP3XUG
this moring he will be around also over 24th and 25th..... Have fun... J

I hope all is well.
I wanted to let you know that I am planning to be on the Moon on 1296
for the full Moon on the evening of 22 Dec. I suspect a lot of others
will be on.
I am also looking for a Y2K compatible version of VK3UM's Moon position
program. I have been using Doug's program for years and just realized
that I am out of business as of 2000! Can someone e-mail me a file of
an undated version or something else that is usable?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

working on new stripline design for 70cm.. (preamp) ..
W4AD: was on last night for an hour or so calling CQ .. worked K5JL and
heard ???? 2MU but did not get complete call. still feels has a dish
problem .. What logging do other folks use ??? K0YW uses CT.. there
is another program called DX for windows.. not good for HF contesting

scores due to many calls being used from same station location.. Please
refer back to net notes and other documentation regarding multiple calls
from same station.. some from France and some from Germany !!
DL4DTU is same DL1DWI .... HP3XUG had been trying to work Europeans with
poor results, Jan reminds us that there has been "one way" conditions,
so for HL3A, be persistant.. Jan will be around on Saturday but not Sunday.
