Hi Joe,

KU3T: What a strange weekend! On Friday, I checked out the 70cm array on the
Sun with the cavity preamp and was copying about 4 S-units of sun noise.
So I was pumped for the contest. Fri. PM into Sat. AM was only able to
work K1FO and N2IQU. Heard K2UYH terrestrial but not off the moon. Heard
noone else via moon. Saturday night, same except after I turned the
amplifier off and called it a night, heard DL9KR very strong and another
DF whose call I couldn't make out. Think it was DF3RU. Sunday AM, heard K1FO and
N2IQU
again. Called CQ on 432.020 and JA5OVU answered me! Copied O's from him.
Later heard and called K5GW to no avail. Also, think I heard KD4LT.
I definitely need to add more antennas and improve the RX side of the station.
Hopefully will get to
that in the spring. Lots of libration fading noticed here.

Hi Joe,

This week realized my first EME QSO's on 13cm. Many thanks to Al W5LUA. My
first QSOs on 3cm, 6cm and 13cm with him!(Also first from RA and former UA)
So we scanned four bands including 23cm in project "four bands EME with
1.65m dish" hi.
In ARRL contest only one easy QSO with Erich QE9ERC. Heard but not complete
with ZS6AXT - because of hard wind in Ivo place.

Rig: 1.65m offset dish, IMU horn with CP, 140W from water cooled GS9B,
NE324 preamp.
Az limits from 207 to moonset, El no more then 42.

73, Sergei RW3BP, KO85ws

be ready to  the second part of ARRL...may be week-end before it.
I can work only in split mode: TX on 2424 MHz, RX on 2304 (2320, 2424)MHz.
I still use 1.65m dish. TX - 120W (GS9B), RX - NE324.

73, Sergei RW3BP

Hello Joe,

My final score for the 70cm ARRL contest (mono operater) is 43 x 23.
My activity was low due to the wind moving the antenna and I am sorry for the
stations that I lost.
For the same reason, Marc, ON5RR, was not active on 23cm last week-end.

The initials are: OH2DG , DL1YMK , DL7APV , and K8UK #138
heard were: DL6WU - SM3AKW - WW2R - DJ6MB - KD4LT - JA5OVU and a lot of partial
calls.

Was trying for 100 QSO's, but the PA failed very early on the last day.  Had
to settle for 95, but at least I got some sleep.
