Hi Joe,
The net is in there pretty weak this morning. May not get in.
On Oct. 3, I worked PA3CSG, OZ4MM, DF3RU, K1FO, N9AB, and JA6AHB.
Snce the last SW I doubled my initial count to 26! I must have finally
figured something out. I think its just luck.
I plan to be on during the 10/30-31 contest. I will be in South Dakota
for the November session, working 144 EME with WD0BIA.

I have been very busiy this summer and finally got the array fixed and
the elevation rotator working again. So hopefully if nothein g else
goes wrong, I be on the moon again.

KB8RQ/M: tearing down a lot of antennas and getting ready to move to new QTH...
Gary hopes to build and be into new home by next summer..
WA1JOF: looking for Jay .. looking for big guns on 23cm.. replaced phasing lines.
will be on during the contest on or about 1296.030 .. prime times will
be on the 30th 0600-0700 & 1500-1600, on 31st 0700-0800 & 1600-1700 ..
Don will be call ing CQ looking for random contacts..
VO1AV: Ron.. not too much progress on EME stations.. Ron has been working very
long hours.. Does not look like he will be on EME this year, but hopes
make it on by mid year 2000.. this is for 70cm grid GN28...
K5JL: not too much from Jay.. no changes at the ranch. reports that K9ZZH
has improved 23cm system and look for him random.. deleted sked with
JA6AHB .. Jay is not on 70cm at this time..
WA9FWD: has a problem with the 13cm driver amp.. headed for microwave update
next weekend.. and hopes to check it out and try to find the problems.
still has problems and my not be on 13cm for skeds..
N1IQU: working on the system .. getting ready for the contest.. refurbishing
feeds and relays.. ready for contest on 23cm and 70cm..
WA4NJP: work has subsided a bit.. weekends off till spring.. will be on during
the contest.. equipment is not all working correctly.. hopes to be on
as equipment gets put back to functional.. new amp ready to go on 70cm..
K9BCT: was someone selling GS23B on e-bay.. dish is stored for hurricane..
has YL-1050 cavity.. and will be working toward getting it running
soon..
K3HZO: finished benh testing video tracking system.. the rotator for azimuth
has a random error in it when in the west.. so no truth tables work
all the time.. questions about preamps for WD5AGO .. built a filter
for the camera lens using welding glass for sun noise measurements.
looking for sked with K9ZZH...
N8XA: reports 6 meter F2 opening .. South America to 1 land..
W1ZX: Module back from mfg and still not working correctly.. deleted sked with
JA6AHB .. Willie is not available on 70cm at this time.
W4AD: have not given up.. still plugging away at 23cm .. have the dish mounted
now..
WA9NGO: ...
W5ZN: all is fine ... will be at microwave update in Dallas..
W2UHI: using a different rig.. TS-870 is sick.. had to modify the antenna in
the rain to get on net.. long story ..
NU7Z: looking for WA8WZG.. have 2 14ghz (will work on 10ghz) 16w TWTs with P/S
that need repair ($50EA).. will be on 1st weekend.. and on 2nd weekend..
30th of this month will be last day on 13cm.. then to 5.7ghz..
VE6TA: will be on contest on 23cm 1st weekend and on 70cm 2nd weekend. ..
W7SZ: now has power on 70cm .. will be on both bands during the contest..
PA3CSG: will be on 70cm and 23cm during the contest.. during the stateside
window ..
CT1DMK: nothing special.. 5.7 feed is on dish still.. if no activity, will start
contest on 23cm.. then go to 70cm on 2nd weekend.. will take 5.7ghz feed
out 1 day before the contest then will be back on 5.7 and up after contest.
DL9KR: nothing new..
ON5OF: sun noise 10db .. 4 antenna.. will check it next week.. needs a little work
on antennas.. had a virus on email.. "happy99.exe" do not open.. will be
on 70cm during contest with more power..
PA3DNV: first contact to USA.. 5/5 ..
