.Hey Bro.

Rx echos for the first time with 10' dish and 250 watts on 23cm after a
month of testing.  I still feel I can get another 0.5 db out of system.
Nothing like the 18' dish but alot of fun experimenting.  Worked on CQ
at 1600 N2IQU 539 both ways.  Open for skeds on this band for a month or
two before sw to 6cm.

Hi Joe:

Thanks for GM0ONN sked.

I was on 432 last night (really early morning) and easily worked W7SZ.  I was
surprised to see in the notes that he worked PA3CSG.  I listen in on their sked,
which was before mine, and heard nil!  I thus did not expect to hear W7SZ, and in
fact heard nothing during his 1st TX period. After that he was always good copy.

I will be on 1296 tonight.

What is the story on DL1/LZ ???  Is this a new station? Can I get a sked.

Joe and Klaus,
please pass along to OK1KIR, OH2AXH, and GW3XYW that I missed all schedules due to a relay failure that blew my preamp. I would like a  re-schedule with each of these stations when ever it is possible.

Thanks

Hi Joe,

Flunked all 5 skeds since last net.

1630    WE2Y    one trace of signal (I think)
1700    W7QX    M copy thru most, O copy at times sent Ms and Os - Cud
not hear me
1730    W7GBI   I sent Os throughout.  529 easy.  Moving S meter to S-2
Cud not hear me
1800    W3XS    nil
0000    RW1AW   Heard me "O" I heard zip
No completions

Only cxompletion all weekend was random with W7FN

My transmitter seemed fine, 750 watts on the Bird, SWR not as good as
usual, but about 40 watts reflected, typical since its been raining for
a week.

The receive system seems as good as it ever been.

Hi Joe,

just as info for other EMEers what I heard and worked with
my tiny station on 23 cm this weekend:

September 4th:

worked on random: ZS6AXT, DD1XF (#), ON5RR (#), F1ANH, WA6KBL (#)
heard: GW3XYW, OZ6OL (very slow CW), DK5MV, W6HD

September 5th:

worked on random: ON5RR (bad wind turning my dish), HB9SV (THE signal of
                  this weekend, incredible 589 !), SM6CKU (#), G3LTF (#),
                  F2TU (#), HB9BBD (SSB)
worked on sked: EA3UM (#)

I heard absolutely nothing on skeds with: JA7BMB, JF3HUC, JH5LUZ, PY5ZBU
Sked with LU6DW was cancelled due to PA-problems in LU.

Heard: DD1XF, GW3XYW, OZ6OL, DK5MV, ZS6AXT, W6HD, VE1ALQ, K5JL, PA3CSG

Has anybody heard a Japanese or PY5ZBU on 23 cm this weekend?
I still need Asia and South America for my WAC on 23 !

Any comments are more than wellcome !

Regards from sunny Bavaria,

Bernhard, DJ5MN

Hello all,

On 5 sept. I worked IK5WJD on 3cms EME, Alex has a good signal and is
quit workable. Stuart GW3XYW sent a letter that he is of the moon on 3
cms because he lost his TWT.
I am looking for skeds the 2/3 oct. weekend. I will take the dish of
the mount for the winter time after that weekend. And will only be on
432 and 1296 in the winter.

Best regards,

Geert
