Hi Joe,

The op was NY2Z (Jim) at W2DRZ today, JULY 10th 2004..

To finish the day did work:

 G3CCH on SSB, K0YW cw, N2IQ cw, W2UHI cw and JH1KRC cw..

Able to have ECHO's to 1.5 degree west elevation..

Last station heard was on 1296.025 with a good signal but did not work,
elevation was 3 degrees..

Showing 190 watts at the dish out of the 550 watts in the shack..

Be on sunday, HOPE more stations show up as was a bit lacking on
stations, G4CCH sure gave it the good try for most of the EUROPE moon
time here..

Hi Joe, 23cm was ok on Saturday, despite a lack of activity. It is nice
to be able to un tie the dish, push the track button, wait for dish alignment,
set the doppler and hear your echoes. Had qso's with W2DRZ 559 559, G4CCH
579 579, W2UHI 569 559 and JH1KRC 559 549. Heard N2IQ come up to work JH1KRC,
but Mark disappeared right after the QSO. ZL1KA didn't show, but I assume
that he was not into getting up at 3AM. All in all a good start to the
Pacific activity efforts. Hope they can continue. Awaiting new TH-327 (thompson
cavity)amplifier next week. Hopefully, it will convert to 1296 and interface
with existing power supplies and metering without much effort. Thanks,

K0YW:   fun day on the moon.. see e-mail above .. 

NA4N:   was up 5AM local time .. got on moon and worked a couple.. OZ4MM & G4CCH .. 
        signals with new preamp and refurbed horn paying off.. heard several others ..
        then lost tracked of the moon.. 

W4RDI:  have not been on air in a while.. hello to all.. all is well.. report on new 
        station with Don's gear.. making progress.  will be til fall before K9KNW, Joe,
        gets the dish up.. but it is in progress.. 

W2UHI:  all went well yesterday.. JH1KRC was a bit late, but then 30 min later heard from
        K0YW that JH1KRC was on.. worked him all ok.. DAC borad failed just after contact.
        replaced board in computer.. and got back on.. worked 5 yesterday and 4 today.
        
K5GW:   for K0YW .. 

W2DRZ:  was on this morning and worked a few Europeans & also some US.. but band went quiet
        after getting fired up.. G3LTF, OZ6OL, G4CCH, W2UHI Today 

K2DH:   not much to report.. been looking for houses and may have found something.. 

N4PU:   not much to report.. has had tower on ground for a month but now back up..

N2SJ:   Mitch .. at a club station for a kids camp..

VE4MA:  hot muggy day.. bad news for encoders.. needs to contact US Digital.. 

W9HNX:  ???

KJ7F:   el indicator got hit by lightening.. QRT till repaired.. 

WB0GGM/M: heading out to motocross track.. will be racing next 2 weekends.. will be back 
        on the moon in fall..

K0RZ:   was not on this weekend.. 

AD6FP:  not much new.. has to finish up t/r switch mods tonight.. and may be able to put 
        47ghz signal to the moon first of week.. but won't really know till late tonight.

DL9KR:  Frank has finished.. sked with K2UYH negative.. OJ0/DL8YHR.. band was pretty quiet
        on the moon.. 

W7QX:   IK2MMB  is in town and on way to visit Jerry.. has not been on much.. been working
        on 10ghz EME .. and 23cm stuff is working .. just needs to put feed in dish.. 
        will be on 10ghz with about 15w..
