Finally I managed to repair my dish drives and plan to be in the
contest over the weekend. However, 6cm is partly damaged and I will
not manage to repair and install it before the weekend. Thus will be
only on 13 cm. Hope the weather will cooperate here,

Subj:    K7XQ EME Weekend Report 2-29 to 03-01
Date:   3/1/04 3:57:58 AM Eastern Standard Time

Here is my report for this weekend:

02/28: Not on Moon, was on 160 contest

02/29:
F6FHP   144 MHz JT-65   Initial # 70
SP6GWB 144 MHz JT-65    Initial # 71
W8WN 144 MHz JT-65      Initial # 72 New State Kentucky
JH2COZ 144 MHz JT-65    Initial # 73 Finally wrk Yasu after 7 yrs. of
trying
ES6RQ 144 MHz JT-65     Worked long path EME on my moonset !!!

No 144 CW heard, No 1296 activity found

03/01:
No 144 CW heard, No 1296 activity heard

I am now QRV 432 EME with dipole feeds and 3 meter dish. I took down the
pair of 9 W.L. 432 yagis because I was instructed that having them
nested inside the two meter array will degrade the performance of one or
both of the bands so I decided to use the 3 meter dish to keep on the
band. I do not have room to put up a separate 432 array since my
backyard is only 20 feet X 50 feet long and most of it is already filled
with all bands of antennas ( 160 Meters to 1296 antennas ).

I listened to WA4NJP on 432 JT-65 and did not hear him but was later
told he was 1 kHz low so that's probably why I missed him since the
software can only see +/- 500 Hz.

I am also playing with a single 9 ele 2.2 W.L. on 2 meter EME ( for fun
and this is also my Meteor Scatter antenna ). I tried a sked with I2FAK
on JT-65 and he got both calls from me but we never completed.

Should be on next week. Most likely after 0500 UTC most evenings ( Fri /
Sat / Sun local ).
