Subj: CSVHFS update....
Date: 3/15/02 11:46:11 AM Eastern Standard Time

To: [email protected] (K1CA Larry Blouin), [email protected] (K1OR John Swiniarski), [email protected] (K1OYB Martin Feeney), [email protected] (K1RQG Joe Demaso), [email protected] (K1WHS Dave Olean), [email protected] (W1VT Zack Lau), [email protected] (WA1MKE David Doiron)
Hello CSVHFS Members:
1. An E-Newsletter will be going out at the end of the month. Please start routing
tidbits of interest my way. If you have an article in you about activity this winter, the
recent ice storm, or whatever, send it along. It'll make for a more interesting
E-Newsletter.
2. The first conference mailing went out and most of you should have received it by now.
The first mailing does NOT have registration materials in it. The purpose of the first
mailing is just a teaser to get your summer scheduling lined up for the conference. The
2nd mailing in late April will have the complete family program and registration
materials. Even if you are not coming to the conference, submitting your $5 for the year
would probably be clearest if you did it via the registration form because the form gives
you the opportunity to submit all your grid and band info.
2a. We are aware that the roster did not print properly. The phone numbers were all
truncated. What looked fine on the screen did not print properly and the error was not
detected till well into the mailing process. Contact me for the no-kidding Excel file.
We will have the latest rosters available at the registration table at the conference.
All the data on the roster comes from your registration documents. Either send along yoor
updates by email, or fill in every blank on the registration forms when you send them in.
3. In the meantime, the website concerning the conference has been seriously updated.
Now there are six pages of stuff to look at covering what happens at a conference; what's
special about the '02 conference; Lodging; Travel; and Tourism. If you find some of the
tourism items of interest, it just might change your travel plans :-) . Find the updated
Conference '02 site by following the link off of http://csvhfs.org/
4. All conference proceedings have sold. Still have shirts. More about that in the
upcoming E-Newsletter.
5. Next time you hear from me should be when the E-Newsletter is available for viewing in
early April. In addition to the web, we will also have .pdf files that will be available.
Please send along E-newsletter tidbits and articles.
