After February I plan to switch my gears on  8 ft dish  to 2304/23230/2424
MHz or 10 GHz. I will come back on 1296 after I rebuild my big dish.
Please let me know who is interested and QRV on those bands. This will help
me to make optimal choice. For me it is easier to setup for 10 GHz. So far
I QSOd 6 stations on 10 GHz from my previous location under W6/SM0PYP
callsign. I was in different square grid, about 50 km away from my current
QTH.
I think I will be counted as another initial ( please correct me if I am
wrong ).
On 13 cm I will have 60-80 W at the feed.

Hi Fellow EME Enthusiasts,

I posted several months ago that I wanted to sell my mountaintop system for
2304, which was the SSB xvtr (modular, well integrated) and an FT221 R and
44 el loop yagi.

I never got anybody that wanted to buy the whole system, but several that
were interested in the xvtr alone.  Well.. crooks need money for crack, so
they broke into my place and stole some equipment.  Clods got my 221 R but
not the xvtr.  Got a lot of other stuff too, *$(#@)*%@...

So now that the clods have broken up the system for me, I am interested in
parting it out bit at a time. :)  The transverter is the RX Mixer, TX Mixer
and LO.  It is VERY stable, and has worked well for me.  Its mounted betweem
two 10 ga. aluminum plates, about 1 inch apart (several of those treaded
spacers, making a transverter sandwich)  So the IF sits on top, the offon
swich is on the front, and the transfer relays and all the cabling are
inside.  It has an acceptable noise figure for most work, and about half
watt out as I remember.  It is amazing how well it works when you get to
about 6000 feet and look down on Atlanta from Clingman's Dome east of
Knoxville :)

The antenna is also available if someone wants it.. it is great for tropo,
but not quite enough aperature for EME.  I always wanted to listen for W4HHK
with it, but never got to.

My home phone is 704-636-1879 if you would like to discuss it further..

If you are interested (the folks who responded earler) or anybody else, pls
let me know.. It is reasonably priced, I think,.. I just want it to have a
good home.  Trades might be arranged, my main interest these days are
antique fishing gear, fly fishing gear, and miscellaneous fishing gear.
Diverse fellow, I remain truly,

hello Joe
It is a long time, no reports from my side have been contributed. I managed
to be qrv during one (2nd) weekend of  the ARRL contest.
I finished with 65x27 on 1296mc. My # are 157 now, with 35 DXCC. All
initials worked during the contest are  on my homepage to be listened:
http://www.hb9bbd.ch
The project with the 32m dish is postponed for about 3 years: The whole
LEUK-site has been aquired by a telecom company, even expanding satellite
services. I expect overcapacity in this field in a couple of years,
frequencies moving generally up in satellite communication and thus big
dishes becoming obsolete rather soon than late. I now search coincidence of
early retirement with the availability of this 32m dish!
I whish merry xmas to the whole EME community, big sigs, no bangs and solid
antennas in the wind. 73 Dominique HB9BBD

Hi Joe:
I would like to request the following for skeds next month.
LU8EDR   ******* (NOT READY YET)
WA9OUU
HA5SHF

Managed to work WA1JOF, W7QX, DL6LAU, and KA0Y last month on 23 to bring
me to a total of 60 initials from DO33.  Thanks to Jay I have received
some Ultem and kapton so that I can try an fire up my 4 tube amp.  I
have also purchased a bias board from C3I which looks to be of good
quality. Just have to get everything assembled, wired and reconfigure
one of my power supplies before I can try a smoke test.

All the best of the Holidays to you and your family Joe.  See you in the
new year!
