NET BEGINS

Klaus..  et ALL..

Net activity was very light today.. Not much action.. There were a few
sked requests for Apr weekend.. I did not add anything to sched.skd.. 
Please make skeds and send me new sched.skd. 

For  those of you receiving the NET NOTES and have the ability to get on
the 20 meter NET, please take the time to stop by and contribute. Without
your participation, there will be no NET. (Of course, there is always the 
'InterNET') ...

Dear Joe,
        Working on 70 cm station. I am changing the phasing lines on the 432 
antennas this weekend and should get almost  .4db improvement. Was using 
LMR400 Ultraflex and thought I checked the loss.The  problem may have been 
due to moisture or the weather. At this point at least, it shows -.4db. I 
am making up new lines from  good old 1/2" heliax which shows less than 
.1db loss even with connectors.
        I'm interested in any schedules for the next weekend  (April8) as well as 
the weekend of April 15.
I will also be available during the week between those two weekends. Hope 
to reschedule some of the stations I have missed as well as new ones. I 
won't be able to confirm schedules until April 6 due to business trip. Sent 
out a large group of QSL's last week.

Still down on HF waiting for new beam. Hoping WX will allow me to be QRV 
next SW.....there are a couple strange Initials I want to hook up with.

W2UHI:  been optimizing the dish, feed, etc .. also eval another rcvr as 
        a tuneable IF.. System is up and running.. 

VE4MA:  waiting for parts for TWT p/s .. working on 24khz rf filters.. 

W5ZN:   will be away on business for a few days.. now that wx is good.. have
        to go away..  no traffic.. 5 mtr dish is up for UHF but needs to get
        AZ/EL and feeds in it.. hopes to be on all microwave bands 902 thru
        10ghz by summer.. 

K5JL:   wx nice and warm.. hopes to be on 70cm in next week or so.. was on Sunday
        night and observed some stations operating up to 3khz apart.. 

WA9FWD: did not hear anything from DJ5MN on sked.. did work VE6TA..  Now has
        a new VE4MA feed for 23cm ready to mount.. also working on GI7B amp for
        23cm.. hopes to be able to listen on 13cm during the UHF leg of Dubus
        contest.. 

W1QC:   ???

K8VP:   new call for KB8ZW ..  #######  Will be on 70cm and open for skeds..

VE6TA:  good wx and hopes to do more antenna work..  now up to 46 inits from
        new location .. worked 4 inits last weekend .. 

W1VEH:  At Jacksonville Naval Air Station.. will be in Savanagh on 4th.. 

DK3WG:  Will be on during contest..

RW1AW:  rcvd good mesh from LX1DB 8-9 millimeter mesh .. will be fixing up the dish 
        to a 3 mtr .33 f/d and 6mtr dish .55 f/d ..Many tnx to LX1DB.. will be 
        QRV during Dubus contest on 70cm..

UA4API: Victor.. will be QRV in Dubus contest..
