Hi Joe:
I wonder if you could pass to GM0ONN that I won't make our sked today as
I want to concentrate on the 1296 SSB Contest.
I was on 432 last night, but I had problems and did not make it on the
moon until nearlly the end of my JH0WYF sked... my preamp failed.
I thought the problem was in the wires that provide the voltage to the
preamp. Trouble shooting was complicated by snow on the ground. We have
had snow for more than 3 weeks. This is unusual in New Jersey. By
the time I had the problem located and the preamp replaced, it was the
start of sked time. Then I discovered a problem with my AZ readout. By
the time I had the readout fixed and had my dish on the moon, the
sked was almost over! (JH0WYF sent me an e-mail that could not make the
sked because it was out of his window. I did not read his message until
this morning.) After the sked I did work N9AB and JA2YT sent a QRZ, but
did not respond to my reply. I was still hearing echoes up to
about 0405.
I plan to be on 432 on Sunday evening/Monday morning, if anyone is
interested in skeds.

Hi Joe,
Please tell to W1QC that he must listen more carefully , I called him last night many times without reply. He should get I guess bit better preamp, to hear the other stations than big guns !
Not many stations yesterday, but all with good signal including SV1OE, also CWNR, hi.

Experiencing problems here with dish probably resulting from ice damage.
Trying to work it out, however, please cancel my skeds with John and
Fortuanto for today so they do not waste time trying to hear me. Major
problem is getting the time to isolate the problem.

I got the short term arranged yesterday sked with W1ZX just in
time with your fine net notes, but wind was too strong yesterday,
so I could not be QRV.
I will be QRV today (Sunday, 13.2.00) between 19 and 22 UTC,
and I am open for skeds again ( W1ZX, WA9FWD, WA8WZG, VE4MA, VE6TA,...).
I also will try to be QRV in the net to confirm any "online-skeds" !
RECEIVED QSLs: F5PL, SV1OE, IK2MMB, JA6CZD, JA4BLC, SM3AKW, PY5ZBU, W3XS,
DF3RU, G3LQR, F5AQC, I0UGB, DF4PV, OZ6OL, DL0SHF,OE5EYM ...all in the
last 2 or 3 months, BUT still 10 (TEN) QSLs missing...even from very well known
BIG GUNS on 23cm EME....hmmmmmm...hmmmmmm

W2UHI: snowing in Mi.. good activity yesterday.. about 25 stations on 23cm..
also was SSB contest.. worked about 15 stations on cw.. light snow, but
not too windy..
K9BCT/M: plans to be QRV later this afternoon..
W7SZ: 2 new initials.. 70cm OK1KIR & WB0GGM .. also worked NC1I and heard KB8RQ
quite loud.. will be on 23cm after 2200z.. gone next 2 weekends.. heard
KB8RQ & AL7OB both horizontal...
W1ZX/M: new skeds with W7SZ, DD1XF, DJ5MN..
K0YW: still working on 23cm station.. 3" of new snow..
VE1ALQ: nothing new.. tried to get on moon last night .. broke shear pin..
so no joy..
K5JL: will be on this eve .. also LU8EDR will be on tonight..
W1QC: will be on tonight at 2100z .. looking for ZS6AXT after OK1KIR ..
heard many stations, some on ssb .. still has some rcv problems ..
trying to sort out this problem.. 23 initials.. looking for more..
only has camera tracking .. so bad wx can be a problem..
W7QX: has some 5 mil teflon for N4GJV.. was on for skeds last night, but
has major problem with hi VSWR .. looking for skeds through the week
like W1QC, WA4OFS.. heard station testing around .010 at about 2300-
2400z .. but with bad VSWR, could not call..
WB0GGM: condx on 70cm. DJ3FI nil, SM3AKW nil, RW1AW nil.. KB8ZW #69, OK1KIR
#70, DJ6MB #71, skeds with EA3DXU heard and sent RM but not complete..
needs sked next month EA3DXU.. AL7OB M copy but not complete.. worked
W7SZ #72, VE6TA O copy but not complete.. ********
KB8RQ/M: did not hear AL7OB, KL7HFQ will run tonight.. will be on this afternoon..
N4GJV: was only on for a short time.. IK5QLO & G3LTF worked.. nil heard with
K6JEY.. will not be on today..
WE2Y: copied KB8RQ & AL7OB both vertical.. nil from K6JEY & LX1DB.. sked with
AL7OB.. S9 QRM ..
VE4MA: cold .. 25 below.. will not be back on 23cm till spring at the earliest...
