This shows how the format/data displayed in the WWV propcasts changed
over the years (prior to mid 1971 they were tone Morse coded).
The sample dates are not neccessarily the date on which a change was

Those who were around will note the 1968 New Year's Day magnetic storm,
which likely provided one of the few (if not only) instance of US
transcontinental 50-MHz F2 of Cycle 20.
