Welcome to my little page, where you can read something about me and amateur radio.
I began to get interested in amateur radio because of my dad. I thought it was funny to sit and listen on his HF, and then when a friend of mine also was interested in amateur radio, we found a teacher and approx. one year later, I had my license. This gained acces to 50 MHz and above, however because I lived in Greenland there wasn't many people to contact. But when the local radioclub, which I was a member of, had put up some satellite equipment, I had a chance to contact the outer world. But many of the satellites wasn't very good to run from Greenland, so it kinda fell into itself. I had 4 QSO's and then it was that, because I couldn't be at the radio every time a satellite went by. Now I could also have tried to learn morse, but I didn't have the time to do that, and I knew that when I moved to Denmark, it was much easier to learn, because the requirements was only speed 25, it had been lowered from speed 60 because it scared many who was interested in amateur radio away. So in August 1997 I moved to Denmark to go to University, and I found out that the local club was about to start a morse course, and I really wanted to gain access to HF so I joined that. We were 3 guys in the end and all three of us passed the test in the spring of 1998.
Unfortunately I haven't got the possibilities to rig my own HF equipment due to the fact that I live in a dorm, and I know if i go QRV on HF, I will have everybody knocking on my door, because I make noise in their radio's and TV's. So I have to use the clubstation for the moment, and I don't get out there very often, so i'm not on the air very often, just a little bit on VHF.

I'm still working on this page, and hope that I have time to do something speciel with it, so please stop by and see if I have made any progress!
