The 2009 Holliday.
The plan was to go "down" to a campsite about 5 km north of Agde. The itent was to activate 3 Light House's. Marseillan Plage Port de Plaisance: ARLHS FRA-705 / FRA-706 /FRA-707 The coordinate : LAT: 43°19.0'N LONG: 003°33.0'E or WW-loc: jn13sh.

BUT on arrival at the camping site (in Marseillan Plage). It was sandy and windy. No green gras or threes. And far from the information given. So we changed plans and went up to Lunel. A spend 18 days. In temps the first 10 days of around the 28-32 Celcius.
Marseillan Plage is marked with a yellow cross. And Lunel (the red dot) at the following map.

As a result of that. The holliday was at: Camping BON PORT. It has the WW-loc JN23BP in Departement Herault nr 34.

The trip was from home planed by using the "Micheling guide" and the "snelweg". They can be found at my link page.

During that stay the camping place (and I ) was visited by frence and 2 dutch amateurs. The dutch hams stayed some days.
I had the uppotunity to talk about our antennas and things like that. They used 2 types of verticals. Where I was using my endfeed wire.
Here some pictures from the holliday. First the "reason" for being there :-)

As U can see the "antenna" is "marked with red", the normal thin gray wire, was not so visibel. Anyways during the WAE-contest in SSB I did perticipate, and the result was a 10th place in France. In the area We did see some flamingoes:

And the "Aigus-Mortes", here is a pictur off the "large" walls.

We had one day of rain from the morning until the midle of the afternoon. That day the squerrels was running on the I tryed to get at picture of that:

The squerrels is marked. The trees behind my car was figs and we did try them :-) Right off the trees.

The squerrels and other small animals got our cat up into the "hunting-mode".
