IOTA Contest in EU-146

Only 13 days left before the IOTA Contest. And nothing was ready !
One big "Must": no extra vacation day, all in one week-end.
So in this short period of time, we found an island, a place to raise our aerials, to put the shack and to host our team.

The Goeree - Overflakkee Island EU-146 was identified as the closest island (PA-land) and a nice flat field was found.
So from the Friday evening till the Sunday afternoon, we raised our poles and aerials, we installed the shack with two stations and
contacted almost 1300 OM during the 24 contest hours.
We operated with both Running and Multiplier stations, phone and CW.
Our aim was to make more multipliers then during our first attempt from Faroe Islands -July 1995- OY6A

We almost doubled our last year multiplier score despite a long period of time without packet link.
A very busy but interesting week-end !

Score: 1.281 QSO, 188 multipliers, 1.783.180 points.
