A part of the crew will keep the station in the air whole night, like they did last night!

Total QSO on all bands: 4358

This morning they had a big pile up on 40m SSB, mostly European station were trying to make a QSO with the station. Since I had to go to the dentist (HI), I misted this huge pile up! Next time I'll take my HF-XMTR with me, HI.

In the afternoon they had some big pile ups on 17m mostly in the direction of Japan.

Last night there was again strong aurora, so all HF-bands were closed! No problem, guys, here in Belgium it was the same!

From SpaceWeather: "In Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Washington and other continental US states, where surprised sky watchers saw Alaska-style auroras.  An unexpected powerful geomagnetic storm ignited auroras over Europe, much of Canada and the United States on Sept. 3rd and 4th. This had global effects on radiocommunications.

At 16:18 I saw in the cluster that they had been spotted by ON4AAM on 7055. Big surprise, they used the call OZ/ON6JUN/LIGHTHOUSE !!!! Jos, ON5SD, is working from a lighthouse, reference DLS-020!

I made a audio recording from some QSO's on 40m:

During the QSO, Jos gave me this info:
On Friday the 6th at 15:00 UTC, Jos will be active from Kegnaes Island (DLS-074 / DEN-019 Kegnaes. 9.59.33 - 54.51.22 18 m. JO44XU)! He will activate a lighthouse on that island; lighthouse reference is DLS-074. Frequency will be 7055 KHz. Don't miss this, Ham's!

The crew has left Aero Island on 08:00 UTC to return to Belgium.
The final results on all bands:

AERO - THE DANISH SOLAR ISLAND
Aero the Danish island with 7400 inhabitants and an area of 90 km² is about to achieve 100% energy supply from renewable sources and is already called the "Danish solar island". In fact the island has reached the world record of 2 m² of solar collector per inhabitant. It all started in the 80ies with pioneers building solar collectors in garages. It was at that time when the first wind mill started production. Presently wind energy generates 13 % of the total electricity production with 22 wind turbines producing about 4550 MWh. Additionally large district heating networks ensure environmentally friendly heat provision. "The Marstal plant" with more than 9000 m² thermal solar collectors and a 3700 m³ seasonal storage produces 13% of the total heat demand for the town of Marstal. Although this is the world largest solar heating plant, Marstal is no exceptional plant in Aero. Another solar district heating plant with 4900 m² thermal solar collectors and several smaller plants are in operation too. Aero is on the track to achieve 100% energy supply from renewable energy sources in the near future and that success already had a major impact on local economy and tourism, for example with the Marstal plant attracting about 4000 energy visitors annually.
The island of Aero, located in Denmark south of the island of Funen is utterly delightful. Its quaint little towns offer a crayola colored experience. The gently rolling farmland is dotted with old churches and windmills. This is rural Denmark at its very best.
AEroskobing, the main town, is a beautiful seventeenth-century time capsule complete with hollyhocks, cobbled lanes, and brightly painted tiny half-timbered houses.
