This is Johny Vandekerckhove and I was born in 1952 in Ieper, a town with about 35.000 inhabitants .

Ieper is situated " In The Flanders Fields " on 30 km of the coast and 15 km of the French boarder . We are in Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium .

Until the age of 18 , I received a classical education including languages (even Latin) , and followed by a Technical education.

I speak fluently Dutch, French, English, German

At the age of 25 years I received my first ham call sign ON1WG and upgraded some years later to ON7XC before getting my current vanity call sign " ON6FF " .
