Né en 1938, j'ai toujours été fasciné par la radio. Postes a galène puis a super réaction dès mon plus jeune age, consacre mon peu d'argent de poche a l'achat de livres auxquels je ne comprenais pas grand chose et de matériel de radio divers. Etudes techniques en électromécanique puis spécialisation en courant faible. Effectue mon service militaire au 1er Régiment Para-commando en 1957 et y reçois une formation de spécialiste en transmissions. Termine avec le grade de sous officier parachutiste.
Licencié radio amateur depuis mars 1960 avec l'indicatif ON4CD.
Participe en tant que militaire aux évènements qui ont suivi l'indépendance du Congo en juillet 1960, l'opération consistait a protéger et a évacuer les expatriés désireux de quitter la province du Kasai et en particulier ceux de l'Immokasai a Luluabourg.
Retraité depuis 1999 d'une societé fabricant du materiel
de brasserie ou j'etais chargé des mises en service du materiel
vendu, consacre mon temps libre aux activités radio amateur et
au DX en particulier.
Titulaire du "Vanity Call" OR1R depuis mars 2006.
Au cours de ma carrière professionnelle j'ai effectué de nombreux voyages de part le monde
et activé les indicatifs FO0GD en Polynésie française et OA/ON4CD a Chiclayo et Motupe au nord du Perou.
