QTH: Ondřejov (LOC JN79JV, 500 asl), village between forests, 30 km SE from the capital city Prague, near Astronomical institute of Academy of Sciences of Czech Republic, where my XYL Marcela is employed - and where I was busy in 1976 - 1987.

Radio amateur since 1957 (OK1-6732, OK1AOJ, Y29BM, OM6HH, OK1HH),

Preferred mode: CW (A1A, basic communication mode).

Most interesting thing in radio: short wave propagation and its forecasting (from solar and geomagnetic activity over different effects in earth's atmosphere until direct and indirect influences, including consequences in human behaviour).

Other interests: meteorology, travelling, sea yachting (since 1996), networking, including Packet Radio (since 1987 as Y29BM, since 1990 as OK1HH, Sysop since 1992 (node OK0NC 1992 - 1997, DXCluster nodes OK0PRG-4 - PR-MFS 1994 - 1995, OK0DXP - Pavillion software since 1996, OK0DXX - CLX since 2000-2005).

Former hobbies: orientation competitions in 50's and 60's, motorcycle and car rallye in 60's, flying on gliders in 70's, .
