This place doesn't have high altitude for VHF contesting, but it is plain and no big obstacles round 360 degrees. It was not far from the house of my mother in law. So, if my XYL decided to make a visit to her in the time just matching some VHF FM contest or 10m band contest, this was my favorite place to escape to for a while (;-)

This place is currently used for my VFH operations when I am present at my 3rd QTH.

First 2 pictures below are related to the date of VHF contest "Velikonocni zavod" (adult and children part) and CQ WPX SSB contest e.g. March 31, 2002. I was allowed to spend only few hours there, but several new DXCC countries at 10 meters were good reward for me and several children operators got their contest points at VHF from me.

This place is accessible by bike and also by a car. It is opened mainly from South-East to South-West directions.
I visited it by bike with ECO X300 antenna and QRP Kenwood THF7e to make some FM QSOs.
Next I used that spot during several VHF contests as QRP with FT817 tranceiver and different Yagi antennas for 2m band.

This place is part of closed area and is accessible for me only by bike. To clame up it takes really some effort to reach that place. Batteries are rather heavy. I took with me also small solar pannel to recharge batteries. It visited it several times for subregional contesting as QRP using 5Watt FT817 tranceiver and different Yagi antennas for 2m band.
Even the place is high enough, surrounding forrest is causing attenuation of signals.
