Back in 1984, there was impossible to buy any commercial ham radio equipment in Czechoslovakia. 2m repeaters were very popular in those days and I decided to build a home made handheld transceiver. I used my own design with 200 kHz wide VXO and 600 kHz IF. Some common ICs are used in IF and AF stages, the output power is about 300 mW.
The circuit design is obsolete and not worth to be published here, but - after so many years, it's still a nice piece of equipment, isn't it?
