In recognition of international two-way FT8 amateur radio communication, the FT8 Digital Mode Club (FT8DMC) issues Worked-Danube-River-Award certificates to amateur radio stations of the world. Qualification for the FT8 WDRA award is based on an examination by the FT8 WDRA Award Manager, from QSOs that the applicant has made contact with each 3 amateur radio stations from the 10 countries that cross the Danube River on their way from the Black Forest to the Black Sea.
These countries are: Germany-DL, Austria-OE, Slovakia-OM, Hungary-HA, Croatia-9A, Serbia-YU, Romania-YO, Bulgaria-LZ, Moldova-ER and Ukraine-UR.
All contacts must be made from the same country (DXCC-entity).
