This letter will serve to introduce Carl F. Hockemeyer.
"Chuck" is a nineteen year old physically impaired student, graduated from Lely High School in Naples, Florida. Chuck is currently seeking permanent part-time employment. and eventual full-time employment.
Since his Sophomore year Chuck was enrolled in Lely High School's OJT Program. This program initiates with unpaid Community Based Training (CBT) and paid placement for On The Job Training (OJT) in the Junior and Senior year. Both programs are geared toward the accumulation of vocational experience and responsibility.
Although Chuck is physically challenged and prefers to use his wheelchair, he is capable of ambulation. He walks by use of quad canes and can manipulate a streamlined walker equipped with a basket, which is practically designed for work-oriented projects. In addition, he can safely operate an electric scooter cart in busy environments, such as a department store or super market.
He is a quiet, reserved, personable young man; capable of accurately following instructions and accepting responsibility. When employed, he demonstrates a strong work ethic, and pursues his responsibilities with determination and enthusiasm

Clerical assistance. Replenishing supply of golf cards for active Pro Shop.

East Naples Middle School
Worked 2hrs per day for Mom In Library
Clerical assistance in school library: light copy machine work; collating; clipping and organizing magazine articles for lateral file; alphabetizing fiction books for shelving. Also use of IBM computerized check-out system with bar codes and light-pen, and introduction to VCR Companion (Apple) for ITV programming.

Lely High School Bookstore
Organized and managed high school bookstore with supervisory help of cooperating teacher. Inventoried and replenished stock . Customer sales, made change. Accepted total responsibility for management and received profit of sales as salary.
