Always under construction for improvements

That's me looking for a contact on 10 GHz

I have been called fiddler on the roof by some. I guess that is because many of the contacts I have made on 10,368,100,000 Hertz (10 Gigahertz) have been done while fiddling, with the equipment that I built in my basement laboratory, while on the roof of my home in Baldwin, NY. Although now I have built a base station setup using a tower mounted transverter and dish so that I don't have to sit on the hot roof. It is also much more comfortable to sit inside when it's raining, snowing or other weather condition that sometimes enhances propagation on the 3cm band. For more information on what's happening on 10 GHz click here for Paul W1GHZ's 10 GHz link.

NY2US Amateur Radio Microwave Page This is the link to my amateur radio microwave page. Photos of my 10 GHz station are there.

NY2US 10GHz Microwave Beacon Page Link that shows a couple of pictures of the beacon and a few word about it and the repeater (coming soon).

10 GHz construction primer. A must read!!

If you're interested in communications and electronics...

you have made it to the page that'll link you to many educating and interesting sites. Why not take a look at the Basic Electronics Page, this is a cyber friends page and very interesting to explore. For a link to most anything dealing with electronics, take a peek at the Engineering Link, this one has all the manufactures, magazines, and it is very useful for reasearch.
