The Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES) is a Federal Emergency Management Agency sponsored program that is administered through the MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE --- Emergency Management Division and Kalamazoo County Government. SKYWARN is a severe weather spotting program conducted by amateur radio volunteers in conjunction with the National Weather Service. Our group also works closely with the Kalamazoo Chapter of the American Red Cross.
