Kalamazoo County RACES
Amateur Radio to CB interface:

Natural or man-made disasters may cause disruptions to telephone and other forms of telecommunication.
Kalamazoo County RACES Radio operators will be in direct  radio contact with local public safety agencies.
RACES will periodically check for, and report incidents to public safety via the Emergency Management Repeater, MEPSS, or County Fire channel.
CB channel 9 will be monitored by RACES as a call channel. Communications will then move to the assigned channel.
CB channel numbers for Townships will correspond to the county fire department numbering system. (with Comstock using channel 29)
