Tower install
July/Aug 2008 started the installation of the 61' (23 sq ft @ 80MPH) Heights aluminum tower at the new QTH.
4.5' x 9.5' hole required for tower foundation (about 6 cubic yards of concrete). Used the local Septic company and their rig that bores dry sumps for septic. This was a 4.5' bit and it took them 45 minutes to when they arrived to when they drove off. Since the Heights tower drawing calls for a round hole this was perfect!
Hole now formed up and Rebar placed. County building Inspection passed!
Concrete being poured and finished foundation. 28 days to cure now"
